Day 9 @ US Open 07-09-10

Not sure if i will make the all Spanish affair of Ferrer & Verdasco as i am going to bed early to get up in time for Rafa's match, which will be around 2am UK time.

Currently watching The Colonel v Robredo.  First set to Youzhny 7-5 and 1-1 in the 2nd.

2 bad service games from Tommy and Mikhail has a double break for 4-1.  tommy needs to get it toghter quick otherwise this match will be over soon.

6-2 and Mikhail is 2 sets to the good.

More fight from Tommy in the 3rd set but i think it is too late.  Youzhny is playing very good and has some to spare too.  Currently 3-3 and i smell a break soon.

And the break has come but not to Mikhail but to Tommy.  Poor from Mikhail and the break point was also a set point.  Wild from Mikhail sent the ball out and it is 2-1 sets to Mikhail.  DO NOT IMPLODE NOW MIKHAIL!!!!!!

Sky have now moved over the Big Sam v Stan and as i am upstairs on the Skyplayer i have to watch this match.  I have the scoreboard open to keep an eye on Mikhail v Tommy and will move downstairs if that goes to a 5th (better bloody not do!)

2-2 so far on Ashe.  Can Stan continue his good form?  I think he has a chance here, as long as the thigh strain does not cause too many problems.

Finally, Stan takes the TB 11-9.  He finally took the set at the 5th time of asking, Sam also had a SP.

Hate Sky!!!  They moved to the "interactive Red button" as the football & cricket is on, can i find the tennis, can i fuck!!!!!!  Having to watch it on a dodgy stream on fromsport!  Stan has just got a break to lead 5-4 and will now serve for a 2 set lead.

4 SP's later and Sam breaks back, FFS Stan!!

Right i am leaving it there, 5-5, 2nd set.  I am going to bed and will set my alarm for 01.30.  I will wake up and check the WTA match on my phone then either rollover and have a bit more kip or get up and watch Rafa kick Felicity's ass :)!!
