Day 6 @ The US Open - 04-09-10

with 8 Men's Singles matches scheduled for today.

I am currently watch Robin Soderling v Thiemo de Bakker.  Robin is up a break 3-1.  I shall also be keeping an eye on the other matches in play at the moment, Gael Monfils v Janko Tipsarevic & Albert Montanes v Kei Nishikori.  I shall keep you up to date :)

Super quick from Robin, wins the first set in 27 minutes - 6,2

Kei is down 2 breaks with Berty serving @ 4-1

Gael V Janko is on serve @ 3-4

Gone to a TB after 2 consecutive breaks got us to 6-6.  Gael had a mini break but now back on serve 4-3.

EDIT - Gael takes the set 7-6(4)

Berty is through as Kei has retired :( :( :( :(

Robin is cruising @ a set and 5-3 and serving for the 2nd.

MTO for Tipsy :(  - right upper thigh.  He went off court for treatment so i presume he had to drop his pants, lol.

Robin is through in 3 sets 6-2, 6-3, 6-3.  Looking good today and could give Roger a good match if they meet in the QF.

Gasquet v Anderson is about to get underway on Court 11 so i will keep you posted with that.
