Rafael Nadal - Wimbledon draw analysis

Russell - Should have no worries

Sweeting - Ditto with Ryan

Raonic - If Milos can get the serve working and Rafa has a bit of an "off day" he could be pushed.  First trip to SW19 for Milos so this is all unknown territory for him but he has proved this year that he can play & win against the big boys.  Rafa will have to watch out

Del Potro - Better to meet Juan Martin here than at the US Open in September.  Another bit hitter who can smack down the aces but I still don't think he is back to his 2009 pre wrist injury level just yet.

Berdych - Not sure about this.  Tomas has been very poor since last year.  I don't see Rafa having any problem should a repeat of lasts years final happen in the QF.

Murray - The British hopes lay here and he will have to play a lot better than last year if he is to reach the final.  Rafa seems to have the measure of Murray on grass and even though Andy will be on a high from the win at Queens the past history is in Rafa's favour and it will take a massive effort for him not to reach his 5th Final.

Federer/Djokovic - Will we get a repeat of 06, 07 & 08 or will it be Rafole in their 2nd GS final meeting?  Either would be a good match though I would prefer it to be Novak.  Whilst Rafa has not been able to beat Novak this year I think it could be a decent match.  Roger would be a different set-up.  He is getting a bit of form after we had all pensioned him off and can still be a handful to anyone if he is on song.

It might be a good idea to revisit this during the 2nd week, once we have seen how everyone is playing, what the conditions/courts are like etc.
