Not quite sure what happened there in the 3rd set but it was a very very average serving display from Rafa again. When you play the best returner in the game you cannot serve like that and expect to get away with it.
Chances were missed to get a stranglehold of the 2nd set but gutsy stuff from Novak, the new Novak that doesn't give in, saw the match go the distance but Rafa faded badly :-(
Off to Colombia now for the pointless exhibtion match, something i think Rafa might just be regreting to right now, then off to Miami.
One plus point, he gained a few points on last year.i
