In my opinion Rafa should of withdrawn at the start when it was obvious he could not give it 100% He is about to try and emulate the great Rod Laver and what does he do, plays on whilst blatantly ill. This smacks of early 2009 when he played on one leg so as not to let people down.
I really thought that Rafa had learnt that lesson and showed so last year with being sensible in the clay season (dropping Barcelona) but now, now I am not so sure.
Hopefully he will now get to Australia, get used to the weather/timezone and, once recovered, start his prep from the Aussie Open.
