Official website article:

After a long and tiring week, Rafael Nadal still had enough energy to play the doubles final along his compatriot Marc Lopez. The Spanish were seeded third at the Qatar ExxonMobil Open and had to play the unseeded Italians Daniele Bracciali/Andreas Seppi, who formed a partnership for the first time. The spectators were able to witness multiple spectacular rallies, for which they showed their approval each time.

Despite being broken in the first game of the match, the Spaniards were able to win the first set comfortably with 6-3. The second set was more intense with both duos unable to benefit from their breaks of serve. The set was taken to a tiebreak, which Nadal/Lopez won 7-4 to secure the title 6-3 7-6(4). The duo had already won the title in 2009.

At the awards ceremony, Nasser Ghanim Al Khelaifi, President of the Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF) and Alex Dodds, President and General Manager of ExxonMobil Qatar Inc., were there to hand of the trophies to the runners-up and the champions. For winning the title, the Spaniards won $56,700, while the finalists received $29,800.
