The old boys competing in London in the days after the ATP year-end event couldn't help but voice an opinion on the chances for the current crops of players at the World Tour Finals

Former Wimbledon rivals Goran Ivanisevic and Patrick Rafter are split on their particular title choices.

The pair are among those competing in the seniors season wrap up at the Royal Albert Hall two days after the O2 arena final which ends the ATP season. And they have completely different tips on the ATP outcome.

“I would go for (Rafael) Nadal,” 2001 Wimbledon champion Ivanisevic told the senior tour. “He’s had a great year, he hasn’t played for the last couple of weeks but I think he is preparing himself and he wants to do well.

"He has put a lot of things that he has never won before in his basket this year. It doesn’t matter what surface it is as long as he is fit and playing well. You also can’t count out Andy Murray because he can beat anyone, anywhere, any time.”

New Australian Davis Cup captain Rafter, losing finalist at Wimbledon in 2000 and 2001, the choice in Swede Robin Soderling. "He’s playing really well, coming off a great week (Paris Masters title), he’s serving well and winning the tight matches.

"I like to go for dark horses, I think it’s going to be really tight and he’s playing well.”
