A late withdraw by Rafael Nadal has seen defending champion Novak Djokovic promoted to #2 seed. Top spot is given to Roger Federer.

A good looking draw & the fact that some players are still fighting for the final places at the ATP World Tour Finals has given the potential for some great matches as the 2010 season draws to a close.

Can Roger win his first title in Paris?
Can Novak defend another title?
Will there be a surprise winner?

Top 16 players all have a Bye and i cannot see any "upsets" from the other matches in Round 1 with the exception of maybe Simon.

Round 2 has some potential great matches.  Federer v Gasquet & Murray v Nalbandian are the 2 that standout.  Andy v David was my first ever live tennis match, Paris 2008.  Nalbandian was the winner that day and if the match is to be repeated i would not be surprised if we got the same outcome.

Round 3 could see Wawrinka v Soderling, Monfils v Verdasco & Berdych v Davydenko.  God knows what will happen in that match as both are playing poorly at the moment.

QF look straight forward to me.  Federer v Ferrer, Murray v Monfils, Soderling v Youzhny & Djokovic v Berdych.

SF Federer v Murray & Soderling v Djokovic

Final - Federer v Djokovic

Winner  - Novak

I shall be doing daily round ups so will give more detailed predictions then.
