Well I got 1 out 2 in my predictions yesterday. Llodra won but Mahut lost in 3 :(
Here is the OOP for today and we have some decent matches in prospect.
Best match is the first on Centre, Gulbis v Youzhny. Gulbis has been typical this year, up & down whilst Mikhail has had a great time. Mikhail is still fighting for a place in London and with the way Verdasco has been playing of late has a chance if he can go deep this week. If Gulbis turns up on court it has the potential to be a good match but I want Mikhail in London so go Youzhny!
The other matches are not so finely balanced but could provide an upset. Clement played great yesterday against Lopez and has a chance against Verdasco. He will have the crowd and all the pressure is on Nando.
Hopefully Nalbandian came come through against last weeks surprise finalist in Valencia, Granollers and set up a clash with Andy Murray. Nalbandian has had some good results here over the years and hopefully they will continue today.
